Latisha Guinn
Founder, CEO & President – Purposeful Strength Foundation
Latisha Guinn is a passionate leader, seasoned athlete, and devoted mentor who founded the Purposeful Strength Foundation to empower young women to thrive spiritually, athletically, and academically. Raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, Latisha’s journey is rooted in faith, family, and a relentless pursuit of purpose.
Inspired by her two older brothers—both collegiate athletes—Latisha developed a love for sports early on. She excelled in basketball and track & field. She also played softball, football & rugby and volleyball, eventually earning a full basketball scholarship to the University of Cincinnati. Her athletic career took her from NCAA tournaments to leadership roles in ministries at UCLA and Pepperdine, and later to the University of North Florida, where she completed her collegiate journey and served as a graduate assistant coach.
Latisha’s professional path is as dynamic as her athletic one. She has served as a firefighter, paramedic, and police officer, always driven by a desire to serve and protect. Her life took a transformative turn with the birth of her three daughters—Sasha, Kindra, and Zoe—which deepened her commitment to mentoring young girls and helping them discover their God-given potential.
Now coaching basketball and track at Traders Point Christian School, Latisha brings her wealth of experience to Purposeful Strength Foundation. Through personalized coaching, mentoring, college prep, and mission trips, she equips girls to break barriers, build resilience, and boldly walk in their faith.
Latisha’s mission is clear: to help girls become strong, confident, and faith-filled leaders—on the court, in the classroom, and in their communities. Whether you're a parent looking for a basketball or track coach, a mentor to guide your daughter through college preparation, or a leader to inspire her through local or international mission trips, Latisha Guinn is a trusted partner in that journey.
